there's a serious bug on marti dice server. every result of strategic bombardment is halved by the server!
for example when you bomb at 4 the mail sent by the server says "your dice are: 2", when you bomb at 3 the mail says "your dice are: 1" and so on...

i hope this problem can be solved soon!

This is not a "bug", but the way the DICE-server works. I little confusion if you are new to it.

1) The DICE-server only send you the dice 1 to 6 rolled, not the damage made! (In normal dices the dice is identical with the damage). If you use LL for sbr the dice rolled is of course NOT identical with the damage made - the Marti-mail dont tell you the damage only the dice rolled

2) The Triplea-software on the other hand DONT show you the dice 1-6 rolled in the window poping up, but the damage made (3 or 4). If you go to the history you should be able to find the dice 1-6 rolled too.
I think dice 1,3 and 5 are 3 damage, and dice 2,4 and 6 are 4 damage.

i'm not sure to understand what you wrote but what i understood is that the problem is related to the option "low luck for bombing and territory damage". now to be concrete in my game i had bombed caucasus with 3 bombers and the result has been 3+3+2 which means a damage of 8 on the factory. my opponent (and me too) received a mail from marti dice server where the result of that bombing is 1+1+1! of course the only way we have to avoid frauds is to consider the result of the dice server as true! so now we can't edit and we have to keep in mind caucasus is bombed at 3 and not at 8 as showed on the map! if it's not a bug.....

low luck for bombing forces you to do the following:

roll a 2 sided die (ie: either a 1 or 2), then add 2

the only possible results from this are 3 or 4 damage

this is how we remove 67% of the luck.....


similarly if you had a 12 sided die game, and you turned on LL damage, you would roll a 1-4 sided die, then add 4 to it
in order to get results from 5-8


marti (and all dice servers, and the internal dice roller too) do not roll a 3-4 sided die (there are no 3-4 sided dice)

they roll a 1-2 sided die then triplea adds '2' to it for the total damage




you can also see this in action when you play global 1940:
bombers roll a 1-6 sided die, then add 2 damage
they do NOT roll a 3-8 sided die

ok but in my case the damage of 2 has been not added cause the result sent by the dice server has been 1+1+1! so maybe the possible result is only 1 or 2!

try reading my message again,

the dice server rolls a 1-2 sided die AND SENDS THAT RESULT

you get that result in your email

THEN triplea adds 2 to the result IN TRIPLEA ONLY
