Sign-ups are open for a dice/nt 41 tournament (single-elimination) at A&A.org. There will be 2 concurrent tournaments--one using Battlemap and one using TripleA. The TripleA tournament will use the play-by-forum function, so it requires registration at A&A.org and at Tripleawarclub's dicey.

TripleA play-by-forum is getting more common among the user base at A&A.org (which is used to dice rather than low luck). So please come participate in the tourney and help us promote TripleA!

It's hard to say whether dice or low luck would attract more participants. If low luck would attract more people than DarthMaximus could be persuaded to change it to low luck. But that said, very few of the regulars at A&A.org have experience with low luck.

I would go out on a limb and suggest that at this level (41 having been played for several years with strategies getting more and more complex) dice is arguably a bit more fun. It's quite possible for the best players to lose because of dices but the dices also make for good drama and a greater diversity of outcomes....

While winning a single-elimination dice tourney is a nice accomplishment, it doesn't prove alot, and is primarily for fun.

Even if you have little or no experience playing dice I think you'd still be the favorite Yama.

dice is quite a different game so not sure... would like to disprove it though so hope you'll join yama... not much of a dice player myself, but sounds very interesting and would like to join - will register on a&a site

I subscribed there. A regular dice tournament using triplea in the end!
I have to learn how to use the Marti ,though. I have always played using tdice server web. Now it doesn't work.
Also, I have to learn how to play by forum using triplea in their website.
