It will be a small round-robin Tournament and all games will all be rated for the ladder. With each game beeing two games i will suggest max 6 player = 12 games in a group. The games are ww II v3 1941 aka aa50 1941, LL, NO, no tech. The rules can be find here: http://www.tripleawarclub.org/modules/comp/rules.php?lid=6

Try to contact the other players in the tournement to get the tournement-challenge going. If u are already started a game with one of the players, then u can let this game count toward the tournement if u agree.

Hf and please post here which games have started and the result of the games.

I'll play. That said, 10 games will require some time to complete, so hopefully we can stay flexible on time.

LL/nt as default is fine, but dice is ok if both players agree no?

Sure, Zhukov

LL/nt default. If the players agrees on other conditions, it is fine with me. Pbem or online are both fine.

It will be 10 (2x5) games, so people joining, shouldnt start to many other games.

So what exactly is the tournament format? After we all play each other once, is there a play-off system? Maybe the two most successful players should compete in a final match?

Also, Dav-eagle, let me know if you want our current games to count toward this tournament (we are just beginning round 2 in 2x PBEM games).

The tournement format is all versus all.
The game of the two most successfull players will probably decided the tournement anyway. Dont think we need a "final" gamne. If the players wants one - no problem for me. But we should decided this at the beginning of the tournement. What is ur options?

Would be no problem, Dave. Just count toward the tournement as a 1/2 win.

oh well that makes sense

so in the tourney play both sides each win would count as .5 of a point

i think that is fairest way

in which case justin i would be glad to count our current ladder games

OK, just an update on my progress: I have 4 ongoing PBEM games with Yama and Dav which are in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Zhukov and I began a match today in the lobby, which we saved and agreed to continue as PBEM.

Cow, I prefer to play PBEM, so please let me know if that is acceptable to you.

Silver, I know you only play lobby games, so I will look for you and make a ladder match a priority.

I try to do all my games live. I have very little patience for PBEM. I make exception for yam that's it. I don't know why he resists live so much. haha.

For my part, I have to take my time and play slow against Yama in order to have a chance. So it might as well be PBEM.
